Well, the funeral was Friday. On Thursday I went shopping with Mush to buy clothes for the funeral, and then for over 4 hours Thursday evening, Lizzy, Celeste, Mom, Adriana, Stephanie, and I prepared the food for when people would come back to our place after the cemetary. Thanks to Adriana, we got alot done, because if she hadn't been there we would probably have been there much longer.
Friday, we got up and got ready. We had planned to leave the house around 10, because family is allowed to arrive at the place at 10 and others at 11, but we ended up leaving around 10:25. We arrived and had some time to ourselves, before people started arriving. There were 2 hours from 11 to 12 where people arrived and gave their condolences. Then we had the service. Mark did the majority of the service, and then I read the eulogy. After that, people came up and said things that they remembered about Andre. Thanks guys, for having the courage to get up there and inspire us all with things that Andre had done. Then after that, we all proceeded to the cemetary. We weren't there long. Mark once again said a few words, and then we said our silent good byes. After that we went back to our place for the food and refreshments.
Ally took alot of pictures during the funeral, and when I get my hands on those I'll post them. Thanks again to everybody who came to funeral, and even to those who couldn't come but wanted to. We, Andre's family, really appreciated everybody who showed their love and support.
